I love life, fashion, art and food. I am nostalgic, eclectic, anamolous, iridescent and esoteric. Studying Fashion Design. Most my written posts make me sound crazy because they are written late at night (or at least that's my excuse anyway). Ask away!

I recently went to see the Made in the Middle exhibition at the mac in birmingham and I really loved some “customised” (not quite the right word) knitwear pieces by Amy Twigger Holroyd. Kat proceeded to tell my about the concept behind them and I am now researching her for an essay about to write for uni. Twigger Holroyd does all different forms of knitting and crochet and produces work for several events, is studying a PhD, runs workshops and a company. Scrolling through her blog I found this piece which I love and was made for an exhibition called Working Title; an exhibition where craftspeople worked with junk donated by local people. It’s completely in tune with my current obsession with bikes.
